Privacy Policy
What Stenvak collects when you browse this site or send an inquiry, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
Last updated: 2026-10-31
This version describes the Google Analytics and Google Ads tags the site runs, the cookies they may set, how consent works in each region, and the data shared with Google and OpenAI to measure advertising.
Who we are
This website is operated by the authorized international distributor of Taishi® Rock Wool from Shandong Taishi Group. Contact: info@stenvak.com.
What information we collect
When you submit a form, we collect your full name, company, country, work email, phone number (optional), product interest and project details, together with technical data recorded with the submission: your IP address, approximate location, network provider and browser user agent, which we use to prevent spam and qualify business inquiries. If you email or message us, we keep that correspondence. When you browse the site, we collect usage data: the pages you view, the links you click, the files you download, the site or campaign that referred you, your approximate location, and device and browser information. Cloudflare Web Analytics and a first-party event counter on our own infrastructure collect this data without cookies. Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, loaded through Google Tag Manager, also collect it and may use cookies and similar identifiers, as described in sections 5 and 13. If you arrive through an advertisement, for example in ChatGPT, we also record the ad-click reference appended to the landing URL, so we can measure which ads lead to genuine inquiries.
How we use your information
We use form information to reply to your inquiry within 1 business day, prepare quotations and sample shipments, arrange logistics, follow up on active orders, and measure which advertisements lead to inquiries. We use usage data to run and protect the site, improve its content, and measure and improve our advertising.
Data sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it with the service providers that run this site and our sales process, as far as each service requires: Cloudflare (hosting, security, the Turnstile anti-spam check and cookieless analytics), Feishu (Lark) (inquiry records and our business email), Resend (confirmation emails), Google (Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads measurement) and OpenAI (measurement of ads shown in ChatGPT). We share inquiry details with Shandong Taishi Group, the manufacturer, only when production or shipping requires it, never for marketing. When you submit a form, a hashed form of your email address and phone number is sent to Google as described in section 12, and a hashed form of your email address is sent to OpenAI together with your IP address, browser user agent and country, so that each platform can match the inquiry to an ad click. Google and OpenAI process this data under their own advertising terms. If you contact us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp's terms and privacy policy apply to that conversation. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses cookies and similar browser storage in three groups. Essential: the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check on our forms and Cloudflare's security services may set cookies needed to protect the site, your consent choice is kept in your browser's local storage, and session storage keeps your campaign source, country lookup and form details for the current visit. Cookieless measurement: Cloudflare Web Analytics and our first-party event counter set no cookies and store no personal identifiers. Analytics and advertising: Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking and Google's conversion linker may set cookies and similar identifiers, such as _ga and _gcl_au, to count visits, attribute inquiries, downloads and WhatsApp clicks to ads and, where ad personalization is allowed, build advertising audiences. Google signals is enabled, so Google may associate this data with signed-in Google accounts. OpenAI's measurement pixel sets a first-party cookie when you arrive from an ad in ChatGPT, to attribute an inquiry to that ad. Whether Google's analytics and advertising storage is on depends on where you are and on your choice, as described in section 13. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser; the site remains functional.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information at any time. Email info@stenvak.com with subject "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 calendar days.
Data retention
We retain inquiry information for 24 months after the last contact, then archive or delete it. Quotation and order records are retained for 7 years per Chinese commercial law. Google Analytics keeps event data for 14 months, and our first-party event counter keeps its records for three months.
International data transfers
Stenvak operates from China. When you send us an inquiry from another country, we receive and handle it in China, because that is needed to answer your request and to take the steps toward a contract that you ask for. Our service providers process data in several countries: Cloudflare on its global network, Feishu (Lark) in China, Resend in the United States, Google in the United States and other countries where it operates, and OpenAI in the United States. Where data from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland goes to a provider in a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer relies on the safeguards in that provider's data processing terms, such as standard contractual clauses.
Children's privacy
This is a B2B website. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version, and the note under it summarizes the latest material change.

Hashed contact data shared with Google for ad measurement
When you submit an inquiry form on our site, your email address (and phone number, if provided) is hashed in your browser using one-way SHA-256 and sent to Google as part of Enhanced Conversions for Leads, subject to your consent choice under section 13. Google uses this hashed data to match the inquiry against signed-in Google accounts that previously engaged with our advertising, so we can measure which ads led to inquiries. Google cannot recover the original email or phone number from the hash. We may also upload hashed inquiry email addresses to Google Customer Match to reach or exclude existing contacts in future campaigns. All processing is governed by the Google Ads Customer Data Terms (policies.google.com) and, for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the Google EU User Consent Policy. To opt out, do not submit forms, or contact info@stenvak.com to request deletion of any hashed identifiers already shared.
Consent, cookies and Google Consent Mode
This website uses Google Consent Mode v2 to control four categories of data storage: ad_storage (advertising cookies), ad_user_data (user data shared with Google for advertising), ad_personalization (personalized advertising and remarketing), and analytics_storage (analytics cookies). For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and for visitors whose location cannot be determined, all four categories default to denied, and a consent banner lets you accept or decline non-essential analytics and advertising cookies with equal prominence. For visitors elsewhere, all four default to granted and no banner is shown. While a category is denied, Google's tags do not use cookies for it, but they may still send cookieless signals such as the consent state and the page visited, and ad-click details may be carried in page URLs instead of cookies. Essential cookies required for security (for example the Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check) and core site functions remain active. Your choice is stored on your device and applied on future visits. Wherever you are, you can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the Cookie settings link in the site footer, which reopens the banner.
